The burn is the week during the month in which the red light of [[gaeleth:Maroth]] lights up the night fully.  With full daylight during the day and full Maroth light at night, the week can get a bit bright and take a toll on the psyche of people attempting to find darkness.  Hunters, however, revel in the Burn.
