+Short Version:  After securing the wagonload of weapons and gold from the smuggler Jaimee, the team prepares for a troll attack that never comes.  When they spy the wake of the massive river troll going upriver, the team is forced to split up.  Felix talks with the Gray wolves; Codrus wins their allegiance.  Codrus heads back to Fasra with the Gray Wolves, Jaimee in irons, and plenty of loot and weapons, to warn the duchy of the troll problem.  (Codrus is not happy about passing up the opportunity for glory against such a foe.)  The rest of the team heads upriver to warn River Crown about the troll.  When they make camp at the the fork of the West and North Cold Rivers, they are ambushed.  Four trolls with long limbs and long necks and small grubby fingers growing out of their skin attack from the water.  The situation is hairy for a moment, but the team prevails.  As they catch their breath, a behemoth of a troll attacks from the water.  Despite massive damage and many attacks, the troll escapes back into the water.

+Dinner was sketti.  Dave never showed, but we didn't have his number to get ahold of him (outside of work numbers). :(  The dice were not kind, that evening; the guys kept rolling ones, or low damage.  One spell would have finished the troll off, but I made the save for the beast.  Having a twenty foot ceiling in the dining room is nice, when you can point up to the ceiling and say, "It's a biiig troll; he stands as tall as that ceiling."
