+Short Version:  The ME team managed to convince Maleah's Mercantile to pay handsomely for the star-metal they had.  The team also spent time sending out plenty of messages.  After some checking, they found that the kobold messengers of Maleah's Mercantile had several leads.  One had encountered giant statues near Palatus, on one of the ridges nearby.  The team dismissed the statues as unrelated to the fomorians that had destroyed Koultris.  They did, however, find taht one of the kobolds had taken bribes from Iron Jon up at Mount Basilisk.  The bribes were there to keep the kobold's mouth shut about anything he knew, but the kobold leader Sebathik was very persuasive, with the help of the ME team.  The kobold contact indicated that the merchant's mark found on the arcanogen in Koultris and in Iaia was seen moving into Mount Basilisk, and into the dwarf Iron Jon's hands.  After forwarding that intelligence to Mount Basilisk by way of additional Sebathik-picked courriers, the team headed back towards Fasra -- avoiding the river as they did so.  After making camp for the night, a frightened goat wandered into their camp -- with a bloody hand print on it.  Jin, curious, began wandering off in the darkness to find the shepherd minus a goat.  Half a mile from camp, he found the remains of several other goats, and a shepherd boy cut in half.  Nearby, in the light of the stars, a rock moved, and then its red lights lit up.  The rock attacked.  Greff and Felix were able to see Jin's fireworks display quite easily, and knew what it meant.  The two of them found Jin just as Jin finally slay the warforged soldier.  Then the horses became more nervous, for they heard the footsteps long before the others -- it sounded like an army was marching in perfect time, just the other side of the ridge they were on.  The warforged they had slain was only a scout.

+Dinner was burritos and chimichangas, and it was good.  Mrm...  Dave couldn't make it, again, and now we know he's run out of time to play with us on Thursday nights.  Looks like he won't be able to make it for awhile. :(  In the meantime, we'll carry on without him.  Bo will be leaving us in a couple of weeks, as well; apparently he's had a job offer in China, and he'll be going back overseas. ):
