Great Lakes

Bodies of freshwater with shores so far apart that one cannot see them are considered 'great lakes'. Some great lakes are in the process of drying up and becoming salt water bodies, while others are continually fed or even drain elsewhere. Regardless, they tend to be rather large bodies of water – usually with a largest length of at least 100km, and greatest depths of at least 100ft.

Typical encounters include (but are not limited to):

Alligator gar
Tanistrophus
Megacarp
Dragon Turtles
