Luminar was one of the first paladins of the God of Justice, Yatindar – who then betrayed Yatindar during the Storm Wars and served the Dark God Nathel until finding anew his honor and slaying Nathel. Simon Luminar was then given back his paladinhood and holbraces by the Sun God Arpelos after Luminar's slaying of Nathel and his valiant defense of the gnomish homeland in the Heavensbane Mountains.
