Aetherist is a Lok Magius title given to mages that receive additional, personalized training beneath a master usually of arcanist ranking. They often travel about the land, learning in person many of the teachings given as fact during their Initiate training. The title of Aetherist is often awarded upon completion of their second year.

Aetherist is the second of the six titles awarded by Lok Magius, and ranks above an initiate, but below a thaumaturgist.
