Maleah's Mercantile is based out of River Crown, Rakore. The mercantile is run by the Order of Caerne, and uses canine-mounted kobolds to run messages and small goods throughout the Janis Plains duchy, as well as over Caerne's Pass to Mount Basilisk.

Though owned and operated by the Order of Caerne, the mercantile's chief manager is a kobold assassin known as Sebathik, who speaks the common trading tongue and saw considerable action during the War of the Four Winds. Sebathik is a hard-working, level-headed kobold that wants to see his people treated as equals among the Rakoran peoples. He actively recruits kobolds from the Johnathan Hills duchy, personally selecting new recruits and training them to rigorous standards with the help of the people of River Crown.

The Order of Caerne (Clan of Caerne) is lead by Telamon Williamson and his wife Tammi, who live in River Crown. Telemon's brother is a Banner Paladin of Whalin named Liam Caerne. Assisting the clan is their shepherd and master of stables Aelar Wildstep, cousin to Telemon and Liam.
