When Urzoth was born, her family lived among the Toomar Tribes of men. Her father was a Toomar native, while her mother was an bog orc hailing from the Wuron Swamps. She was only a year old when both her mother and father were killed by a lynch mob formed by the Toomar humans, whose prejudice and hatred for orcs led them to see the joining of an orc and a human to be disgusting, and who saw the half-orc children as abominations. Narrowly escaping the mob, the 8 year old Ghorza saved Urzoth and fled to the only safe place she knew of, her mothers tribe. This is where Urzoth was raised. The trauma of her early childhood became a distant memory throughout her upbringing, as she was trained in druidic magic to eventually become the tribes shaman. The tribe championed Marzipos, the Rot Goddess, as their patron deity, hoping she would bring them strength through trial. During her training, Urzoth took particular interest in the processes of decay and decomposition. She even learned to use her influence over fungi to subjugate the corpses of the dead, using them to do her bidding. She believes this demonstrates her strength to Marzipos, as she is dominating those who are weak and have died, and using them to bolster her own power.
Urzoth was 15 when Ghorzha returned from her hermitage, telling of a vision from her god Barith, and of a mission she must undertake. Urzoth saw this as an opportunity to demonstrate her strength and worth to both the tribe and to Marzipos, and as a way to repay her sister for saving her life, so she dedicated herself to assisting her in her mission.
Personality Traits - I was raised in a primitive, tribal society, and as a result I am what many would call “uncivilized”. I also have a passion for the undead, and death in general.
Ideals - The natural world is more important than all the constructs of civilization.
Bonds - I will bring terrible wrath down on those who cause destruction to the natural world.
Flaws - Don't expect me to save those who can't save themselves. It is nature's way that the strong thrive and the weak perish.
