The Orchid's Dew tavern operated out of Teras from late 1230 to early 1232 Avard. Run by an orc named Nalf (or Nalth, depending on pronunciation), the Orchid's Dew catered to the orcs that immigrated to Teras for work after the War of the Four Winds. Nalf was killed and the tavern severely damaged during a routing of werewolves from Teras in the spring of 1332. The tavern was transferred to a githzerai named Greff, whom many orcs consider a friend and ally.

The tavern was located on the second floor of a relatively modest two-story building along Wharf Street, in the central and eastern section of the city. Many orcs lived nearby in the tenements of what many considered a tough borough of Teras.
