Kinshasa
Kinshasa is all of the Rakis desert, on southern Galanath. The dominion was established long ago, and the desert elves have through the centuries, adapted to their environment. Long lived, and with long memories, the desert elves also developed long legs and arms, reaching average heights of 6'8" in males, and 6'5" in females. Their endurance, and ground-eating strides, have allowed them to quickly meet enemies in the desert battle grounds. Through most of the history of Kinshasa, the Vord Orcs would stream out of the Jaeth Mountains to the south and east, trying to capture as much of the desert as possible; the elves pushed the orcs out, millennia ago, and the orcs keep trying to take it back. The recent creation of the Sea of Kiriath meant new allies for the Kinshasans; the Granite Clan of dwarves moved into the southern Jaeth Mountains, helping keep the orcs at bay. Being an old nation, Kinshasa has old treaties with many of the other nations, including a trade treaty with the Toomar tribes -- though separated by the Sea of Kiriath, at its creation, the Kinshasans have found a number of other nations willing to act as intermediaries for trade. The dominant deity is Galanus, followed closely by Lul and Rahne.
