The Sholin Tribes
The Sholin Tribes are a coastal people, arrayed along the southern edge of Halganeth, and the northern edge of Baroneth. Their other strongholds are on Krikta Island, far to the west of Halganeth, and on Baroneth's Chirin Island. Their true strength lies in the sea, taking from it most of their sustanence and supplies. They are loosely organized, rarely aggregating in cities of more than a few hundred souls. Simplistic and in tune with their environs, they prefer a closer connection with the oceans than the larger vessels of other nations can give them. Strong swimmers and expert fishermen, they often wander the Gulf of Teras and the Aboriac Sea, staying at sea for days or even months at a time, relying on tradition and their priests to protect them. Their primary deity is Olorin.
