This is an unusual bow that appears to be made of glass, and has no discernable draw-string. The inside of the hard-as-steel glass appears infused with vari-colored lights. Whenever the wielder 'goes through the motion' of knocking an imaginary arrow, the bow activates, providing the wielder with an iridescent illusion of a string and an arrow knocking. These the wielder can use to sight the bow.

The bow deals 2d4+2 points of damage, and can be fired three times per round. It apparently is line of sight, throwing traditional archers off guard (giving them a -2 to hit, until they are accustomed to the bow). Range is unlimited, though the magical bolt thrown from the arrow travels only as fast as a normal flight arrow. Targets of the bow's bolt may save versus physical spells (once per round) to negate the attacks of the bow.

The mage Prikdannon created this weapon during the Storm Wars, as part of a series of spells he created dealing with infusing destructive magical energies into inanimate objects.
