Garrot Rings

The appear to be two, nondescript silver rings. Perhaps the only thing remarkable about them, are small hooks of metal. On one of the rings, the hook is turned perpendicular to the ring; on the other, the hook is parallel to the ring. When a character brings the rings together, he can interlock the hooks. Inside the rings, is a tightly wound spring and some very fine wire; interlocking the hooks allows the wearer to pull the wires out, and use them as a garrotte.

Because the wires are so fine, and the construction so detailed, most garrot rings are gnomic in make.
