The Thriblades of Yatindar epitomize the Three Blades of the Church of Yatindar: Courage, Honor, and Justice. It is the sworn duty of the Thriblades to ferret out evil both within and without the Church of Yatindar, as well as to mete out the justicial will of the churches. Elite defenders of the faith, the Thriblades come from all ranks and all classes, assuming their title only after they have completed a warrior's quest for one of the Disciples of Yatindar.
Paladins, clerics, and rangers most often ascend to the title of Thriblade, though the rare fighter is given the opportunity to serve so high, as well. Few other classes achieve the power and discipline necessary to become a Thriblade. Because of the Inquisition, it is impossible for sorcerors, wizards, or bards to become these elite defenders of the faith. Though the Thriblade title is awarded by the Disciples of Yatindar, other churches often recognize these warriors of justice, not only for their combat abilities, but also for their abilities to mete out fair justice.
Most Thriblades are found in immediate service to the various churches of Yatindar, but some many also wander the lands, aiding the Inquisition or meteing out foreign justice.

Skill Points at Each Level: 2 +Int modifier.
Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Thriblade prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Thriblade is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, and all forms of armor. Note the penalties for armor heavier than leather apply to the skills Climb, Jump, Ride, and Swim.
Yatindar's Favor: With Yatindar's blessing, the Thriblades are the only class allowed to return to the faith of a paladin with no penalties. Thus, a 7th-level paladin could take a level of Thriblade, become an 8th-level paladin, and then become a 2nd-level Thriblade, ad infinitum.
Fear Immunity: Because of their intense, almost blind faith, Thriblades are immune to all fear and fear-effect spells. From this lack of fear stems many of their legends of courage.
Zone of Truth: A Thriblade may discern lies at will, as per the spell, within a 20-foot radius of his person. This discernment ability may be used to detect invisible creatures that are lying, but it may not find a silent individual who does not wish to be found.
Justice: When any opponent damages a Thriblade with his melee attacks, the Thriblade can return that damage in full to his attacker in the next melee range. The Thriblade must declare use of Justice, and make a regular attack with one of his longswords; he may otherwise make attacks or defend himself as normal during the round in which he uses Justice. If the attack is successful, the damage dealt equal to the full amount of damage received by the Thriblade in the previous round; the Thriblade does not add in his own attack or damage modifiers, nor do critical hit multipliers count for damage during the attack using Justice. A Thriblade learns this ability by 3rd-level.
Honor: By sweeping his longsword back along his forearm, a Thriblade may make use of Honor to defend himself. This defensive motion adds a +1 deflection bonus to his Armor Class, and this increases by +1 every other level (at 3rd-level, it becomes a +2 deflection bonus, and so on). The weapon itself can no longer be used for offensive attacks, but can still be used to parry and defend.
Courage: When attacking a creature that cannot be hit, either because of its quick moves or its immense armor, Courage can lend the Thriblade strength. In any round in which a Thriblade misses an opponent because his attack roll was too low, the Thriblade adds a +1 bonus to his attack modifier in the next round. This effect is cumulative, to a maximum attack bonus dependant upon the Thriblade's level.
Twin Longswords: Because a Thriblade uses twin longswords, coupled with the faith of Yatindar, the penalties normally incurred for two-weapon fighting eventually disappear. At 2nd-level, the off-hand longsword is treated as 'light' for purposes of figuring to hit penalties (twin longswords 1). At 4th-level, all penalties to using twin longswords are negated (twin longswords 2).
Spells: A Thriblade continues to advance in spell-power, as though he were a paladin. If the Thriblade had been a paladin, then the Thriblade's spells stack (meaning +1 level of spellcaster). If the Thriblade had been a cleric, ranger, or some other class, then the new spells gained are as those of a paladin (i.e. as though that character were a 1st-level paladin).
