BogOrcs

The bog orcs of Gaeleth tend to have a number of adaptations to living in the swamps and rivers of Gaeleth. They tend to be hairless, and slightly slimey. Bog orcs tend to have thick, relatively thin skin that is mottled green, brown, and black, in a sort of camouflage pattern. Bog orcs tend to be faster than their cousins, though somewhat weaker than other orcs.

Bog orcs tend to be found in northern and southern Galanath -- in the marshes of the Halenar Duchies, and the Cora Swamps of Aslin.

Bog Orc Base Racial Features

All of the following are base racial abilities for the bog orcs of Gaeleth.

Ability Score Adjustments: +4 Strength, +2 Dexterity, -2 Intelligence, -4 Charisma.

Size: Bog orcs are Medium size.

Speed: Bog orc base land speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision (Ex): A bog orc has darkvision to a 60-foot range.

Automatic Languages: Orc (O'Olphariz dialect), Giant. Bonus Languages: Common, Aquan.

Skill Bonuses: Bog orcs gain a +2 racial bonus to Hide checks in aquatic and plant-like environments.

Favored Class: Ranger. A multiclass bog orc's ranger class does not count when determining whether an experience point penalty applies.

All of the following are class features of the bog orc racial class on Gaeleth.
Ability Score Adjustment: +2 Constitution.
Saving Throw Bonuses: Bog orcs can hold their breathes twice as long as other orc races, before requiring a Constitution check.
Swim Speed: Bog orcs base swim speed becomes 30 feet.
Skill Bonuses: A bog orc gains a +2 racial bonus on Survival checks in aquatic and marshy environments. Bog orcs also gain a +8 racial bonus to Swim checks.
