 Mount Lavanor serves as the seat of all the churches in Rakore, as well as the seat of the Church of Galgiran in Rakore.  As such, it has a large temple to Galgiran that contains a tuft of the god's beard within a massive anvil.  The main chasm of the upper reaches also contains a temple to each of the gods of Rakore, as well as diplomats and emissaries of the churches, monastaries for many of the gods, and other important persons and representatives.

 +===Galgiran's Beard===
 +
 +A tuft of Galgiran's beard is found within the temple's anvil.  A thick rug runs the length of the center aisle, of plain red-gold color with white footsteps shown upon it.  The rug covers the actual footsteps of the god Galgiran, who graced the temple with his presence during the War of the Undead.
 +
 +===Hall of Faith===
 +
 +A monastery was founded by the Rakanus Dwarves to hold monks of all faiths, so that they could tend to the needs of the clergy of all faiths.  The monastery also focuses on training ambassadors and interfaith exchanges.

 +===Barb's Brew===
 +
 +Directly related to the Barbed Brew in Kashin, Barb's Brew also serves the drinks of Avold Barb -- such as the loved and feared Lead Gut (a potent haggis-bourbon concoction that dwarves seem to appreciate).  A fifty-weight cask of Lead Gut has been known to fetch as much as 18,000 silver down in the Granite Clan, with tankards of it selling for 15 silver each.  Less potent fair for all races can also be found at the tavern, with room service an option for those who pay for it.
