To Bury a Call
Location: Between Firland and the Star's End Monastery
Date: Summer, 1333 Avard
Characters: Gwen, Este, Halite, Tendaji, Nalani
The wagon with the building materials was shattered by the ogre, and the caravaner named Call was killed in the ensuing chaos. The team beat back the ogre, let him take a mule, and then harried him to death some distance from the camp. Afterwards, they buried Call and snuck another book from Hanth.

We barely survived the ogre attack. We lost 2 mules and Call, and almost lost a wagon, but were able to repair it enough to keep going. Without Call's watchful eye, I was able to dig into the chests and read to my hearts' content. It was slow going, and not particularly useful information, but it was interesting reading and helped to pass the time spent on the road.
